I have only spent one sessions or so playing DOD so i cannot comment on the overall quality of servers. Graphics have never depleted entertainment for me and gameplay trumps all. Both games are flawed and both exceed in their respective ways. I have played Day of Defeat Source for over 10 years and i recently finally tried dod for the first time. the bot needs YOUR address.(I originally meant to post this here rather than source forums.) IMPORTANT: Like Step 7 we are dealing with folder addresses that YOUR folders may not be on a C drive location. I find it better to use the launcher for RCBot2 and adjust the skill and number of the bots based on how I feel. I prefer to edit some files and have them load with my favourite server amount – 16 players. If you are new to the game read about how to enable that “console” here by YouTubber Evaldas256. Right now you could run the game and the program would load, you can add bots with the command “rcbot addbot” in the console. Making a special desktop shortcut with "-insecure" in it solves that issue.ġ6. The reason is, the "-insecure" command isn't in the Launch Options anymore. So now you can connect to an online server again, but next time you play the bots offline.
